Zoner Draw 4 is the latest version of this vector drawing program. From the brief look that I had of version 3, this one is a whole new ball game. The whole layout is cleaner and easier to follow, with many new features that make it a true upgrade version. It should be perfect for all your desktop publishing needs whatever they are.

Main User Interface

Zoner Draw 4 comes with 111 TrueType fonts and over 5,000 clipart images are available for download as you need them. It also includes a GIF animation program.

The program will allow you to easily print objects bigger than your printer page size. They can be joined into a poster later by lining up the marks. This means that you can print to literally billboard size if you want. 

Using a vector draw program to create cards and banners and any DTP application makes sense. This is because all sections can be made independently of the program and then imported and skewed and coloured in place.

Text can also be manipulated in the same way. In fact, any image is capable of being controlled easily in a variety of ways. These include putting text on a line and turning text into individually editable lines. All text can be converted to curves and this allows manipulation of each individual letter, or any part of it.

Edit your own text shapes and create a personal font. It is possible to have just one letter selected, which can then be stretched or coloured differently and then grouped with the rest of the word.

All work should be made up of small sections that can be treated like layers. You select the bit you want to work on and then any changes made only affect that selection. You can group sections later to manipulate them as a whole. When making a card or poster it is difficult to size text as a whole, especially when different fonts or formatting is used.
